Thinking out loud...............Could door into wine room be re-positioned in dining room. Create a grotto effect into wine room. Clip a portion of storage room to make a small (2' x 7') tunnel type entrance off of dining room. Jeremy suggested if we did this to put a window in the gallery to view into the wineroom. That is an interesting idea too.

Oh well, this is why I build and don't design.

Master shower bench – We are fine will walling-in the point so that the shower bench is more like a trapezoid than a triangle.

Master shower door – Allan threw the idea out of moving the shower door from where it is over by the bath to the flat wall by the shower head so that you could open the door, reach in, and turn the water on. Jeremy – Is there enough space to move it? If so, we need to rethink the placement of the 2 showerheads so that one doesn’t point directly into the door and get water all over the floor through the cracks. This will need to be coordinated with the plumber as he is setting all of this up right now.

Wine room – We are fine with leveling off the ceiling on the back section to be at a flat 9’ rather than the angle it is currently. However, we would like to drop the 11’ section in the back corner down to 9’ so that it’s not so choppy. We won’t have racks up to 11’ and we don’t need to temperature control that space either. Sean and I are working on finding a new wine door with glass in it.

Guest room closet – We are fine with leaving the closet bigger and having a smaller utility closet. I would like the A/C and water heater stuff walled off so that I can still use that front part of the mechanical room for storage. I realize it’s small, but you can never have too much storage. I can still stack bins of stuff in there.

Met plumber and established location of 2nd tankless HWH in rear closet. Framer will build wall to receive water heater. Need to punch thru roof for vent. Have roofer install vent.

Plumber will complete Thursday and get inspection Friday. Reminded him about pot filler in kitchen.

Told framer to move wall in mechanical closet east 4' to enlarge bedroom closet and block off mechancial drops and stuff.
